A transmission skid plate and catalytic converter shield for your Ford F-150 Powerboost. Crafted out of 1/4" 5052 aluminum making it an ideal catalytic converter theft deterrent and an off-road skid plate. It's an all-in-one design concept! This design boasts a full length skid plate that runs from crossmember to crossmember with 2 added side "wings" for additional catalytic converter protection. This catalytic converter shield/skid plate is part of our F-150 skid plate package.
Fitment
- Ventilation holes to keep temperatures down around the transmission
- Mounts into preexisting holes from the factory
- Not compatible with lift kits that require subframe modifications (usually lifts greater than 3 inches)
- Oil drain hole is optimized for the PowerBoost model. We highly recommend an aftermarket oil drain valve for ease of oil changes. Check out brands like Fumoto, Ronin, and ValvoMax
